Morgan’s Cove

Morgan’s Cove is a Bar within a bar! A wonderfully themed bar located in downtown Tampa. This speakeasy is not accessible from the road or even visible. Instead, you must go into Yeoman’s bar (Which is a wonderful spot in itself), walk back to the restrooms and pass them, through a winding corridor, and finally to the end of the corridor where you will most often be greeted by an attendant who will either allow you to pass through the bookshelf, or take your name for your visit.

On the weekends Morgan’s cove is often busy to a wait may be required. Once getting inside you will immediately get the vibe of a pirate’s lair complete with a whale skeleton. A true feel of a bar within the Pirates of the Caribbean at Walt Disney World. The decorations, the lighting, the whale skeleton… This place will Wow you!

They have a full drink menu with a wide range of pirate beverages from a range of spirits, Beer and Wine, and a small selection of food items. When looking for Morgan’s Cove – Don’t look for a sign. Don’t look for a front door. Morgan’s Cove is accessed by entering Yeoman’s Restaurant and walking in the back, passing the rear bathrooms, winding down the hallway, and entering through the bookshelf. On busy nights a doorman will greet you and may take your name after which they will text or call you when you are able to enter. Visit during the week and you will likely be able to just walk in.

This is a wonderful place to take a date and enjoy an hour or so, or go with friends and grab a table. You really will feel like you are relaxing in a true pirate venue.
